Raising poultry on pasture is not a new idea. Traditionally Chickens and Turkeys free ranged throughout the farm. In recent history companies needed to produce chicken faster and cheaper, therefore they developed a system that confined birds to large facilities that controlled the living environment. This created fast and cheap, but at what cost?
